The Curse of the Tahiéra

Wendy Gillissen, M. A.

about Wendy

I was born in Delft, the Netherlands in January 1969 and have always been fascinated by dreams and the transpersonal world.
After I graduated in Clinical Psychology I specialised in dreamwork and regression therapy. Since 2002 I have my own practice
In 2007, following an inner call I had heard for years, I became a member of the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids (OBOD). I am now studying the Bardic grade, and learning to play the Celtic harp.

I have felt the urge to write as early as age five or six, when my parents started taking me to the British Isles and visit the ancient hills and ruined castles of England, Wales and Scotland.
In 2005, after a visit to the Greek island of Kefalonia, I began work on The Curse of the Tahiéra
.

Initially, Curse of the Tahiéra started life as a short story but when Yldich walked into the tale of his own accord, it became clear I had something else on my hands altogether. For months, Rom and Yldich kept me busy with their adventures, springing scenes from the story on me at the oddest times, and soon it felt as if I was actually sharing my house with these people.

Altough a little overwhelming, the process of writing proved amazingly fullfilling and inspiring and as I was completing the first book, ideas for a sequel already came flooding in. In 2007 I started work on a sequel to The Curse of the Tahiéra.

Like wildfire, creative inspiration began to spread to different areas, and in 2006 I started making jewellery inspired by ancient cultures and symbols.

I hope these pages will inspire you, and I hope you enjoy the site(s)!
